Через зниження запасів нафти, а отже нафтопродуктів, постійною є проблема
зростаючого використання альтернативних палив. Одним з найперспективніших є водень,
але використання його як самостійного палива досить утруднене, проте у вигляді добавок
має перспективи до широкого використання в автомобільному транспорті. З метою
встановлення ефективності його використання у вигляді водневмісного газу як продукту
електролізу лужного розчину проведено низку випробувань на автомобілі ЗАЗ–1102 «Таврія»,
що обладнано двигуном МеМЗ–245 із карбюраторною системою живлення та
електролізером SuperKit 10, що живиться від бортової мережі автомобіля. Одночасно також
використовувався електролізер Лига–02. Вплив на паливну економічність добавки
водневмісного газу до повітряного заряду визначався при роботі двигуна в режимі холостого
ходу. При використанні відсоткової добавки 1,34 % від маси палива паливна економічність
зросла на 1,9 %.

Due to lower oil and petroleum products there is a constant problem of the growing use of alternative fuels. One of the most promising is hydrogen, but its use as a self-fuel is rather difficult, but using as the form of supplements has prospects for widespread use in road transport. In order to establish the effectiveness of its use as a hydrogen-containing gas as a product of the electrolysis of the alkaline solution, a series of tests conducted. Tests were carried out on the car ZAZ–1102 "Tavria", which is equipped with an engine MeMZ–245 with carburetor feed system and electrolyser SuperKit 10, which is powered by the vehicle electrical system. At the same time also used electrolytic League–02. The effect on fuel economy additives hydrogen-containing gas to the air charge is determined when the engine is idling. When using additives 1,34 % interest, from the weight of the fuel, fuel efficiency has increased by 1,9 %.
