Abstract (ukr):
У статті розглядається досвід формування та інтеграції
дослідницької та англомовної компетентностей учнів у процесі вивчення
природничих наук на прикладі Наукового ліцею Державного університету
«Житомирська політехніка». Проаналізовано практичний досвід використання
англомовних освітніх ресурсів (відео, подкастів, текстових матеріалів)
екологічного спрямування для одночасного розвитку предметних знань та мовних
навичок. Висвітлено особливості організації навчального процесу з використанням
англомовних джерел. Окрему увагу приділено підготовці дослідницьких робіт
учнів до конкурсу-захисту Малої академії наук України з використанням
іншомовних джерел інформації.
Abstract (eng):
The article examines the experience of developing research and
English language competencies of students in the process of studying natural sciences
using the example of the Scientific Lyceum of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University.
The practical experience of using English-language educational resources (videos,
podcasts, text materials) with environmental focus for the simultaneous development of
subject knowledge and language skills is analyzed. The peculiarities of organizing the
educational process using English-language sources are highlighted. Special attention is
paid to the preparation of students' research works for the competition-defense of the
Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine using foreign language information sources.
